On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump threatened to regulate or shut down social media companies, one day after directing Twitter's first alert to the White House about his tweets, which meant his account would be restricted if "offenses" were repeated.

And, according to Sky News, that Trump, without providing any evidence, repeated his accusations of social media platforms with bias via Twitter, saying: "Republicans feel that social media platforms are silencing the voices of conservatives completely." He vowed, "We will organize it forcefully, or we will close it before we allow it to happen."

"Clean up your actions now," he added, addressing his words to those sites.
